      Urban Spirit

Urban Dance Company (UDC) in Urban Sprit. This eerie Halloween performance was divided into 2 halves. The first featured UDC's different dance styles in an explosive mixture of themed dances. The second half was a demonic Halloween storyline told through a continuous music mix.

Three victims were attacked by different evil forces: An average boy looking for love was attacked by his new girlfriend and her friends. On the surface the girls appeared to be innocent and loveable but behind their charm and sensuality there was a great deal of malicious plotting. The second evil force consisted of a group of businessmen who welcomed their new colleague into their firm. The welcome their new colleague received was not quite what she had expected. At night the businessmen transformed into vampires and turned their new colleague into a stately snack. And lastly, a devout religious group went about their worship serenely and calmly. Unexpectedly, they turned on their newest parishioner in a crazed form and showed their true colours as an underground cult movement. Everything was not always as it seemed…..

This performance was in support of Cancer Research UK
