Urban Dance Company (UDC) specialise in fresh 'n' funky, street dance, hip hop and break dance! We're unique because we train amateur dancers as well as semi-professional's in a fun and friendly environment to become experts within the dance group. We encourage beginners from dance and non-dance backgrounds to join one of UDC's many classes to learn original dances at varying paces.

At the moment the 'flava' in street dance is combining many different disciplines and styles of dance to create new and innovative forms of dance. Here at UDC we combine street dance with hip hop, break dance, salsa, ballet, contemporary and jazz into our routines. Each of our classes are taught by specialist choreographers as well trainees; click here to meet the team.

UDC's term classes perform in two large theatre shows per year and perform in various clubs and events around Berkshire and Surrey.

Check out the News and Events page for previous appearances. (just click on the headings at the side.)

UDC sponsors a different charity for each of our large theatre shows. In the past we have sponsored Multiple Sclerosis, Berkshire's Give a Child a Chance, Kids with Leukaemia and Imperial Cancer Research Fund to mention a few.  Our dancers have an active role in choosing the charities we sponsor.

We run many street dance and break dance classes in and around the Berkshire and Surrey area, running programmes with the local councils and school extra curricular classes. All our classes consist of a fusion of different styles taught by various choreographers.  If you like our 'flava' and want to add to the crew, check out the classes page for class times and venues.

UDC offers many services such as work experience for both secondary school and university students, children's parties, choreography training programmes, and opportunities to compete in UDC's professional groups.
